Our how-to guides are written for people who already have previous familiarity with deploying and operating openUC2 OS. Here, we assume that you just need concise information about how to perform particular tasks. You can think of these guides as being like a combination of runbooks and playbooks.

Our guides are organized by a progression of the kinds of tasks you need to do with openUC2 OS:

  • Day 0 (planning): You can simplify the process of deploying openUC2 OS by making some plans and decisions before deployment. These guides will help you to make those plans and decisions.

  • Day 1 (deployment): When you need to deploy a new instance of openUC2 OS, or when you need to re-deploy an existing instance of openUC2 OS into a different operating environment, these guides will help you to perform that deployment smoothly and with less stress.

  • Day 2 (routine operations): These guides will help you to perform various day-to-day operations with openUC2 OS after initial deployment.

  • Day n (reconfiguration and extension): These guides will help you to customize and extend your openUC2 OS machine after initial deployment in order to match your requirements.
